ruth mills: Ruth Mills trained at London Contemporary Dance School gaining a BA (HONS) degree in contemporary dance and choreography. She has toured extensively as a dancer, both nationally and internationally. Beginning her career by dancing works by Robert North, Jose Limon and Paul Taylor before moving towards dance theatre with Marisa Zanotti, Tag Theatre Company, Natasha Gilmore’s Barrowland Ballet and more recently with smallpetitklein Dance Company. She has since built a growing reputation as a choreographer and Movement Director in theatre and dance. Collaborating in productions including National Theatre Scotland, Pachmana Productions and Ankur Productions, Tron Theatre, Citizens Theatre, The Arches, working with Directors and Writers including David Grieg, Cora Bissett and Davey Anderson, A dedicated teacher of core contemporary dance technique in Scotland and beyond. She is on a mission to get the whole world dancing! Teaming an expert knowledge in Martha Graham technique with a passion for new music and film, her creations often extend out of the theatre in to short films and music videos.
